Facts about Burn's Night

Celebrated in Scotland on or around Robbie Burns's birthday.This year on 25th January 2014
Robbie Burns was a famous poet.



Traditional food eaten on Burns's Night  would be Haggis,  nipps (turnips) and tattis (potatoes) this would be piped by people playing the bagpipes. Everybody would stand to watch the main course brought in and layed at the top table .  A speech is recited to the Haggis by the host or a guest of the party before it is cut up.
